About
Most learning environments ask students to tone down—to lower their volume, soften their enthusiasm, and conform to a standardized mold. That message tells bright, curious minds that they are “too loud” or “too much.” At T.A.G., we take a different approach: we create spaces where students are invited to amplify who they are, not mute it.
At T.A.G., students explore their strengths and use those strengths to shape their sense of purpose. Learning is hands-on and student-centered: projects and activities are designed so learners can discover what energizes them, then apply those passions to real challenges. Rather than fitting students into preset expectations, we help them build pathways that honor their natural tendencies—creativity, leadership, analytical thinking, empathy, or drive.
Mentorship is central to this process. Skilled mentors listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and help students reflect on their experiences. Mentors model persistence, curiosity, and ethical decision-making, and they provide tailored guidance that helps each student translate talent into tangible skills and goals. This one-on-one attention accelerates growth by turning potential into practiced ability.
Personal development is woven into everything we do. Students learn goal-setting, self-awareness, resilience, and communication skills alongside academic content. They practice giving and receiving constructive feedback, navigating uncertainty, and making decisions that align with their values. These capacities empower students to advocate for themselves, collaborate effectively, and pursue opportunities with confidence.
The result is a learning experience that values individuality and fosters purpose. We teach students to tap into their talents—through experiential learning, mentorship, and personal development—so they don’t have to tone themselves down; they can stand up, stand out, and move forward.

Our Story
Meet our Founder
Jazmune was raised in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, the middle child of three in a loving household. She attended Dallas Independent School District schools and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School. Her childhood was marked by challenges, including a parent’s struggle with substance abuse and caregivers who were not always able to meet her emotional needs.
Despite these difficulties, Jazmune pursued opportunities for enrichment and found a passion for dance and learning. She became an avid reader and participated in multiple dance teams, which provided creative outlets and emotional respite.
Jazmune earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Texas in Denton, where she also founded and led a dance team. After graduation, she began her teaching career through Teach For America in Dallas ISD and later completed a Master’s degree in School Leadership at Southern Methodist University. Over eight years, Jazmune led a historically challenged elementary campus through the Accelerated Campus Excellence (ACE) initiative, helping the school achieve A and B ratings and multiple state distinctions.
